LAGUNA NIGUEL, California — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is pleased to invite the public and stakeholders to visit the California Service Center in Laguna Niguel on September 21.
Join us for a tour of our facility and general presentations on immigration benefits, what a service center does, customer service, and transformation (our future move into the electronic age). We will have displays and handouts on a variety of topics, including citizenship, the latest test preparation materials and tips on avoiding fraudulent representation in immigration.
This is part of an agency-wide effort that began in late 2010 to invite community stakeholders and the general public to open houses at offices across the country to meet USCIS personnel and learn more about the agency’s programs. The effort is designed to enhance USCIS’s presence in the community, show the public a bit about the agency’s work and strengthen its partnership with stakeholders.
Attendees will be grouped based on arrival time. There is currently space available for sessions beginning at 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Each group is limited to 40 people and will begin promptly. RSVP to CSCopenhouse@dhs.gov by September 19 to reserve a space, indicating your preferred time of arrival. All visitors should bring a government issued photo I.D. Please be advised that the use of cameras of any kind, including cell phone cameras, is prohibited in our facility.
USCIS is the agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responsible for immigration benefits. For more information on USCIS and its programs, please visit www.uscis.gov or follow us on Twitter (@uscis), YouTube (/uscis) and the USCIS blog The Beacon.
