MANILA (Mabuhay) – There is nothing extraordinary about the Makati City Hall Building II that was built in 2007 for P2.5 billion, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said Monday.

In his initial assessment of the building, Trillanes said the Makati building was ordinary.

“This is an ordinary carpark. Walang sensors kagaya ng mga carparks sa mall. ‘Yung ginamit na materyales sa building walang ekstraordinaryo,” he told reporters during an ocular inspection.

He was with Senator Aquilino Pimentel III, head of the Blue Ribbon subcommittee hearing the alleged overpriced construction of the building.

Pimentel said they will ask their questions on the things they found out during the inspection tour at the resumption of the hearing on Thursday.

The senators found some cracks on a wall at the 10th floor and the ramp pavement on the 4th floor parking. (MNS)
