Toni Gonzaga still mum on rift with Mariel

MANILA, Nov 22 (Mabuhay) – Toni Gonzaga no longer wants to comment about her rift with Mariel Rodriguez.

Gonzaga figured that it is best not to talk about the issue because she doesn’t want to be accused of using it as a promotion for her movie with John Lloyd Cruz, “My Amnesia Girl,” set for release this November 24.

“Ngayon kasi kapag nagsalita ako people will think na it’s part of the promo of the movie, and I cannot defend myself if they will think that way. Tsaka na lang. Tingnan natin,” she said.

She and Rodriguez had a falling out in the middle of this year, but Gonzaga refused to divulge the details. Gonzaga said she believes the right time will come when she and Rodriguez can talk about what happened and hopefully make peace.

At the moment, Gonzaga would rather focus on enjoying her life surrounded by friends that matter, one of whom is director Cathy Garcia Molina who directed “My Amnesia Girl.”

The two have already worked together in “You Are The One,” “You Got Me,” and “My Only U.”

Kapag kinakausap at mino-motivate niya kami ni John Lloyd, talagang may personal touch,” she said.

Gonzaga is also beginning to forge a good friendship with her leading man, Cruz.

I feel blessed to be working with him,” she said.

“My Amnesia Girl” is Gonzaga and Cruz’s first project together. (MNS)
