LOS ANGELES – The Asian Professional Exchange (APEX) will host a professional mixer and fashion show on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. 6:30 p.m.-10 p.m., at the J-Lounge, 1119 W. Olive St., Downtown Los Angeles, CA 90015 featuring the work of four extraordinary fashion designers brought together for a good cause.
This highly anticipated event will highlight the achievements of Asian Pacific American fashion designers and entrepreneurs who are making their mark in the highly competitive fashion industry. APEX will be featuring the work of Ai for Ai, Carol Chen, Line and Dot, and Stella and Jamie.
Likewise, the event will showcase the outstanding work of these designers and entrepreneurs, as well as provide inspiration for others to fulfill their own creative visions. This event honors their contributions to the culture and economy of Southern California and for helping to put Los Angeles on the international fashion map.
All proceeds from this event will support APEX’s non-profit activities including, the 17th Annual APEX Youth Olympics, a sporting event that brings together at-risk youth from inner cities to promote leadership through fun team-building exercises.
