Los Angeles 16 April 2013, The Philippine Consulate General successfully launched the first day of elections for Overseas Absentee Voters (OAV) on 13 April 2013 at the Rizal Hall of the Consulate.

The Consulate General invites all registered Overseas Absentee Voters (OAVs) in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas to cast their votes by mail or personally, from 13 April to 13 May 2013. Reception of ballots will terminate at 4 a.m. of 13 May 2013.

Due to building restrictions, the Consulate will be open for voting and reception of mailed or personally delivered ballots on weekends for the following dates only:

 04 May 2013 (Saturday) – 10 a.m. up to 2 p.m.
 05 May 2013 (Sunday) -10 a.m. up to 2 p.m.
 11 May 2013 (Saturday) -10 a.m. up to 2 p.m.
 12 May (Sunday) – 10 a.m. until 4 a.m. of 13 May 2013 (Monday)
The counting of ballots shall immediately commence at 4 a.m. of 13 May 2013.
