Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo said she is already shooting her upcoming movie with Gerald Anderson. According to the singer, she started working for the movie last Tuesday but is yet to tape with his leading man.
“May mga meeting na kami, bonding-bonding konti. He’s very polite and sobrang proper,” she said pertaining to Gerald. She added that though this is their first team-up together, she feels comfortable working with not only Gerald, but also Matteo Guidicelli because of their friendly personalities.
“Feeling ko matagal na kaming magkakakilala kasi magaan yung loob ko sa kanilang dalawa,” said the Kapamilya actress.
In the movie, Gerald and Matteo will compete with each other for Sarah’s love. In real life though, Sarah said she does not see it coming anytime soon.
“Sabi ko nga at least sa pelikula na-experience ko pag-agawan ng boys,” quipped Sarah.
In his prior interviews, Matteo said he wanted to work with Sarah and that she is one of her showbiz crushes. But Matteo is currently involved with actress Maja Salvador although the two had dismissed rumors about them.
Gerald, on the other hand, is very much single and is also doing his upcoming series “Buhawi Jack” with Kapamilya newbie Jewel Mische. (MNS)
Is it true that actor John Lloyd Cruz gave his girlfriend actress Shaina Magdayao an expensive gift?
Following the reports that Cruz gave his girlfriend a luxury bag as a gift for Christmas, speculations now thrive that the actor has given the actress a watch worth half a million pesos. Cruz said the price of gifts he gives Magdayao does not really matter because itâ€™s always the thought that counts.
“You know hindi na tayo kumportable na dini-disclose ang mga ganyang bagay. Hindi naman dapat nagma-matter [kung ano ang regalo]. No matter how big or small yung amoung ng binibigay mo, itâ€™s really the thought na nagka-count dapat,” he said. He said he does not have a plan yet on how he and his ladylove will celebrate Valentines day.
“Wala pa. Kung papalarin at bibigyan kami ng pagkakataon na magsama on that day, well and good. Kung hindi mangyari, okay lang din. Trabaho lang muna,” said Cruz.He was also asked to comment on the budding romance of his former onscreen partner Bea Alonzo with actor Zanjoe Marudo.
“I couldnâ€™t be happier for them. Lagi ko naman sinasabi kung saan ka masaya, mas doble yung saya namin bilang kaibigan mo para sa iyo,” he said.
The year of Vice Ganda
Year 2011 seems to be a lucky year for television host and actor Vice Ganda. He revealed that he is taking on a lead role in an upcoming movie of Wenn Deramas, 2010 Metro Manila Film Festivalâ€™s best director. The television host also divulged that hunk actor Zanjoe Marudo and basketball star Paolo Hubalde might become part of the movie.
According to Vice Ganda, he is very happy with how his career is going and one of his wishes is to just maintain the success he is experiencing. He is also hoping that the health condition of his grandmother, who suffered stroke last year, will improve.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda shrugged off rumors that he will leave ABS-CBN’s talent show “Showtime.”
He said he loves the show and that, even if his contract ends, he is still willing to be part of it. He shared that his relationship with other “Showtime” hosts is incomparable, and that it is strong enough to surpass any misunderstanding that may come their way He also considers the extension of the showâ€™s air time as an opportunity to make more people happy.
