MANILA, Dec 6 (Mabuhay) — President Benigno S. Aquino III called on the youth to join government efforts in nation building saying their time, knowledge and talent hold the key to solving the nation’s problems.
The President issued the call during awarding ceremonies of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) held in Malacañang on Thursday.
He pointed out that there is more to the youth despite the common misconception that they would rather spend time on frivolous activities such as playing computer games, going to the mall and hanging out with their friends or “gimmicks.”
