Philippines Showcases Tourism at the 22nd Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture

Los Angeles, 17 September 2013 – The Philippine Consulate General participated at the 22nd Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture (FPAC) held at Point Fermin Park, San Pedro, California from 07 to 08 September 2013.

The 22nd FPAC is organized by Fil-Am Arts and is considered Southern California’s largest and longest-running Filipino cultural celebration and exhibit featuring Philippine visual and performing arts, books, culture, Fil-Am heritage and organizations. FPAC 22 annually engages 400 volunteers and over 100 community organizations to present about 500 artists to an audience of 20,000 with a global reach of 9.7 million impressions worldwide.  FPAC’s theme for 2013 is “PAG-UNAY, PAGLAGO, at PAGBABAGO” celebrating Interconnectedness, Prosperity, and Renewal highlighting achievements that move the Filipino community forward.
