Los Angeles, 22 August 2013 – The Philippine Consulate General commemorated the 30th death anniversary of Ninoy Aquino with a mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Los Angeles on 21 August 2013.

In commemoration of the 30th Death Anniversary of Ninoy Aquino, the Philippine Consulate General in cooperation with the Overseas Filipinos for Good Governance (OFGG) organized the mass celebrated by Fr. Camilo Pacanza attended by various Filipino-American Associations, L.A.  County/City Officials and media in Southern California.

During the commemoration, Consul General De La Vega read the message of President Benigno S.  Aquino III. Mr. Robert “Bob” Schroder, Musical Director of Filipino-American Symphony Orchestra rendered a flute performance together with the Church Music Ministry. Atty. Roman Mosqueda of the Ninoy Aquino Movement (NAM) led the community song number “Bayan Ko”.
