MANILA (Mabuhay) -– The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Tuesday announced that issuance of license cards went back to normal following shortage of supply last week.
Jayson Salvador, spokesman of the LTO, said that issuance of license cards is now back to normal as the shortage of supply for license cards has already been addressed.
”We apologize for the inconvenience last week. Now, we are back to normal issuance of license cards,” said Salvador.
”We advise the public that we are now back to normal operation,” he added.
According to Salvador, there was trouble in the issuance of license cards in various LTO agencies due to reported shortage in the supply of the materials being used in the cards.
Salvador said that in Metro Manila offices of the LTO, there are no more problem with regard to the issuance of license cards.
For provincial offices, Salvador urged license applicants or those who are scheduled to renew their licenses should first contact LTO district offices in their areas if the cards are already available there. (MNS)
