Actress Louise delos Reyes has come to a few realizations following the dissolution of her relationship with boyfriend of three years, actor Enzo Pineda, chief among them that “true love can wait.”
She explained in a recent interview, “Naniniwala ako na kung talagang ’yung pagmamahal para sa’yo, dadating at dadating ’yan, at the right place, with the right person and the best reason.”
While there is a lot to be valued in a relationship – primarily because “marami kayong napagdaanan together, naging masaya ka, minahal mo ’yung tao” – she thinks “may mga relationship po talaga na kailangang mag-end para mas mag-grow kayo, para mas may matutunan kayo about life.”
As to her and Enzo calling it quits, she shared, “Nag-part ways kami dahil iba na ’yung gusto niyang puntahan, at iba na ’yung gusto kong puntahan.”
She admits regretting not being able to have proper closure with Enzo.
“Hindi ko ’yun naibigay sa kanya ng maayos,” Louise said. “Kasi siyempre bata lang din, sa relationship hindi pa talaga alam kung pano i-handle. Nandun din po ’yung takot ko na, I really can’t say it to his face, kasi, alam mo ’yung mahal mo, pero siguro kailangan niyo lang din maggrow apart.”
The breakup didn’t go smoothly at all as rumors of a third party supposedly being part of the proceedings immediately surfaced.
The separation of “Kambal Sirena” leading man Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla only served to fan the flames further.
Addressing the issue for the first time, Louise said: “Wala kaming (she and Aljur) relasyon, hindi ako ’yung naging cause (breakup with Kylie), at hindi siya ’yung naging cause ng kahit na anong breakup.” (MNS)
