Actress Kim Chiu isn’t feeling insecure about working with friend Maja Salvador on ABS-CBN’s upcoming series “Ina Kapatid Anak” despite observations that Salvador might outshine her in the primetime drama.
Salvador recently won two Best Actress awards for her performance in the independent film “Thelma.”
For her part, Salvador said she’s proud of her real-life friend’s performance in the show.
In the series, Salvador plays Margaux, a rich girl who’s longing for freedom, while Chiu plays Celine, a poor but optimistic girl who will do everything to fulfill her dreams.
Joining the show are stars Enchong Dee, Xian Lim, Janice de Belen, Cherry Pie Picache, Ariel Rivera, Ronaldo Valdez, Pilar Pilapil and Eddie Gutierrez.
“Ina Kapatid Anak” is set to debut on October 7. (MNS)
