WHILE most of her contemporaries in the Star Magic Batch 3 have already tied the knot, actress Kaye Abad said she still enjoys being single and doesn’t feel the need to get married soon.
“Hindi ko talaga alam. Hindi ko pa siya nararamdaman,” the 31-year-old actress said during a break in taping of “Annaliza” at Sienna College in Bulacan.
Kaye, who has been dating singer Guji Lorenzana for some time now, said she’s contented with her personal and romantic life. She admitted though that she’s a bit wary when it comes to marriage.
She recalled that when she was 18 year old, she wanted to have her own family and retire from show biz at 25. But she’s past that age now.
“Iyon ang talagang wala [pang plans]. Mahirap eh. Ipon muna since mahirap ang buhay ngayon,” she said.
The actress clarified that she doesn’t have any problem with the prospect of getting pregnant or giving birth. She’s afraid to fail in marriage.
Kaye said her boyfriend Guji is qualified to her future husband.
“Mabait, responsible and mabuti siya sa pamilya. Hindi pa lang talaga ako ready. Siguro pag nakaipon na or kapag-stable na. Minsan kasi kahit nakaipon ka na, parang it’s not enough,” she said.
The actress said she and Guji still want to pursue lots of things in their respective careers.
Kaye also expressed support to Guji and his sister’s quest in the reality singing search “The Voice of the Philippines.”
The Lorenzana siblings will be mentored by Filipino-American international singer Allan Pineda, more popularly known as Apl.d.ap.
She shared she’s also close to Guji’s sisters, cousins and family.
Kaye said she will support Guji as long as he enjoys what he does.
(MNS)
