(Relaxnews) – Chris and Liam Hemsworth are being courted for the film Triumph AKA 40 Summers Ago, reveals Thewrap.com. The movie will shed light on the bond between actor Steve McQueen and his body double Bud Elkins in the 1960s.

Producer Jerry Weintraub (Ocean’s Eleven) is said to be interested in the Australian siblings’ profiles for the movie, which is also penned by a brotherly duo — Brandon and Philip Murphy.Triumph AKA 40 Summers Ago will focus on the friendship between McQueen and the star stuntman. The latter notably served as McQueen’s body double in the motorcycle jump scene from The Great Escape (1963).

Triumph AKA 40 Summers Ago will not depict Steve McQueen’s career in its entirety, but another McQueen forthcoming biopic titled The King of Cool should fill the gaps. It will star Jeremy Renner (Avengers) as the Hollywood heavyweight.

According to Thewrap.com, Chris Hemsworth has also been picked up for a thriller entitled Candy Store. The actor who played Norse God Thor in recent Marvel flicks will portray an undercover operative who loses everything and must start fresh. Christoph Waltz and Brad Pitt had previously been mentioned for the film project, which will be directed by Stephen Gaghan (Syriana).

Chris Hemsworth also stars in Red Dawn, an upcoming remake of the eponymous film from 1984, in which the North Korean army replaces the invading Soviets in the original as a threat to the US.
