GEOFF Eigenmann said his relationship with his father Michael de Mesa is even better now and he enjoys working with the veteran actor.

“Masaya kasi it’s a different side we see in each other now. We talk about different things,” he said.

The two co-stars in afternoon soap “Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Kita?” on GMA-7.

Geoff said that all is well between them and the separation between Michael and her mother Gina Alajar is now “a thing of the past.”

“For me there’s no point in reliving or thinking the past. You can’t even change it anymore. All we can do is to move forward,” he said.

“Lahat kami sa family, hindi namin pinag-uusapan. We basically moved on, move forward and see the good in everything. Hindi namin iniisip na mahihirapan kami, na may kulang,” he said.

When asked if it adds more pressure for him to deliver knowing that he’s working with his dad, the young actor said he’s

more comfortable now acting in front of his father.

“With my dad naman, nagugulat siya. Katulad nung first scene namin together sobrang kabado ako, I was like a kid not knowing what to do. Now kalmado na. Masaya kasi he sometimes say na nagulat siya sa ginawa ko or nagbibigay ng advice.”

But when it comes to his mother, Geoff shared the seasoned actress would still give him acting advices.

“Halos lahat ng eksena meron talaga. Lagi yan. Ngayon actually wala na masyado, lately yung comments niya all has been good. Pero nung nag-uumpisa talaga ako eh hindi mawawala,” he said.

Geoff knows he’s far from what his parents have achieved in showbiz, but he hopes that one day he, along with brother Ryan and cousins Sid and Gabby, will make the whole clan proud.

“Wala pa ako (sa nagawa nila). I’m very far away. Hindi pa ako nano-nominate. Gusto ko din ma-nominate for anything,” he said.

Right now, Geoff is enjoying his stay with the Kapuso Network. He renewed his contract with GMA last March 2012. He is set to make two to three shows every year for the next three years.(MNS)
