3 pounds of stew beef, cut in large pieces
3 minced garlic cloves
1 small, sliced onion
3 large and chopped tomatoes
1 bay leaf
3 tbsp. of soy sauce
6 medium potatoes; peeled and cut in fourths
Cook the beef, garlic, onions, tomatoes, soy sauce and bay leaf in a pan until the beef is tender (45 minutes to one hour).
Half an hour before the beef is ready, fry the potatoes in oil until they change color. Remove all the oil from the pan until a tbsp is left and add the garlic. Fry everything for 1 or 2 minutes.
Remove the beef from the sauce and add the fried garlic. Brown the beef and add the potatoes and sauce. Heat until it boils to then remove it from the heat.
