Enrique Gil was not expecting to be doing a kissing scene with Bea Alonzo for their movie “She’s The One” as it was not originally part of the story.
That’s why Gil admitted he felt nervous when he read the script and found out that he will be doing a kissing scene with the actress.
The actor said he’s just thankful that he did his first “solid kissing scene” with Alonzo, who is one of the best actresses of the current generation.
Artistang artista,” he said.
Asked if he got carried away with the scene, Gil coyly answered: “Oo naman. Oo na ‘yun.”
“Sobrang saya po. Never ko na-imagine na makakasama sa pelikula sina Dingdong (Dantes) and Bea. Before excitement, it was really pressure din talaga kasi kailangan ibigay mo rin your best,” he added.
Alonzo, for her part, said she just acted professionally about the scene so that Gil will not feel uncomfortable.
It’s part of the job.’ Nabasa naman sa script. I knew na kailangan gawin ‘yun, I knew na it’s going to happen,” she said.
Alonzo also admitted that she was initially worried to be working with Dantes and Gil in the movie since it is her first time to be working with them.
I don’t even know them personally. Tapos sabi ni direk, ‘Alam mo once sinabi sa akin ni Ma’am Charo na ‘yung pagiging in love is also a feeling just like when you’re sad or happy. Being in love is a feeling.’ Magaling kang artista kung kaya mong i-convey na in love ka sa isang tao kahit hindi,” she said.
The romantic-comedy film is among Star Cinema’s big-screen offerings in celebration of its 20th anniversary.
Joining Alonzo, Dantes and Gil in “She’s the One” are Maricar Reyes, Guji Lorenzana, Coleen Garcia, Daniel Matsunaga Erika Padilla, Marc Solis, RS Francisco and Garlic Garcia. (MNS)
