SINGER Christian Bautista said that he is ready to fall in love again but clarified he is not yet dating anyone.
Bautista said he is now at the age where he wants to settle down and eventually build his own family.
However, Christian said he has yet to find that special person to share his life with.
“Parang halo na nag-aantay at naghahanap. Sabihin na lang natin na I’m ready. I’m at that age. I’m turning 33 this October and papunta na doon. No pressure, pero ang sinasabi ko lang na I’m at that age,” he said.
He added that even though he experienced past heartbreaks, he said he will never become cynical when it comes to love.
Bautista prefers to establish a relationship based on their connection rather than the qualities he is looking for in a girlfriend.
“Mahahanap na lang kasi mahirap yung may hinahanap ka because nobody is perfect, not even me. I know I have so many faults, so why would I look for someone perfect. (I’m looking for) someone who will complement me,” he said.
“I’m open to anything, showbiz or non-showbiz, and I don’t label it. Darating yung panahon pero wala pa talaga. Hindi ko sinasabi na dapat may quality ka na ganito. Ang hinahanap ko yung connection. ‘Yun ang inaantay ko,” Bautista added.
He last dated German-Singaporean television personality Carla Dunareanu. The two broke-up August of last year.
For Bautista, his singing career remains his top priority. He said he will also return to Indonesia next month to do a new recording and will soon continue his South East Asia rounds.
As for television shows, he is still part of “Sunday All Star” and hinted a possible acting project soon on GMA-7. (MNS)
