Not all honor students are nerds.
Chloe Dauden earned a Marketing and Advertising degree from AsiaPacificCollege with honors yet she is far from being a nerd. Fact is, she is among the coolest people we’ve ever met.
And she is hot too.
That claim comes not without proof: Chloe is FHM Philippines’ cover girl for May.
“Well, I don’t want to be labeled na porke’t may honors kailangang masyado kang straight, na masyado kang seryoso sa buhay,” she explained. “Siguro kasi showbiz is in my blood. So parang nakikita ko na sarili ko sa showbiz world noong bata pa ako.”
Chloe’s grandmother is ’50s drama icon Marlene Dauden. ’90s actress Carol Dauden is an aunt.
She made clear however, “It’s not because nag-bare ako mahilig na akong mag hubad, malandi ako or whatsoever. It’s about exploring myself also as a person. And ‘yun nga it was done tastefully naman and I’m proud of myself at nagawa ko yun,” she shared.
Prior, Chloe was one of the suitcase girls in “Deal or No Deal.”
She also won 2nd Princess at the 2012 Miss World Philippines tilt, which earned her a contract as GMA-7 talent. That paved the way for her to be among regular hosts of the defunct “Party Pilipinas.”
She also landed a role in the film “My Lady Boss.”
“After mag-reformat and ‘Party Pilipinas’ that was the time na-release na ako from GMA Artist Center. Now I’m with Viva Artist Agency. I signed a five-year contract with them last year,” she said.
Chloe deemed her partnership with VAA a perfect fit.
“Kasi I saw that the market of Artist Center is more on the bagets. So I think ‘yung kailangan ko or gusto kong gawin si Viva mas makakagawa nun for me,” she related.
So how daring will she be in future film projects?
“Well, for now my limitations are ‘yung ganito ka-bare sa magazines muna kasi siyempre gusto ko ring matakam ang mga tao. Hindi naman pwedeng sa lahat na lang laging all out because I still don’t want to be labeled as a bold star,” confessed Chloe. (MNS)
