ACTRESS Camille Prats said that she still misses her late husband, Anthony Linsangan, but said she’s open to finding new love.

Anthony died on September 23, 2011 after battling nasopharyngeal cancer for years.

Palagi namang nandoon yun. May mga moments talaga na I really miss him. May mga araw that I get really lonely,” she said in an interview.

Siguro, through God’s grace also, I get very busy, I have so much work. I’m blessed with a beautiful family na grabe rin ang support system ko. So, yung lungkot medyo nababawasan,” she added.

Camille and Anthony tied the knot in a civil ceremony in California on January 5, 2008. Two years later, on March 5 2010, a church wedding was held in Manila.

They have a son Nathaniel Ceaser.

“My husband and I were together for seven years. Alam ko ang pakiramdam na may nagmamahal sa iyo, may nag-aalaga sa iyo. May nakakausap ka sa phone and may nakakausap ka about your day,” Camille said. “Pero you know what? It’s been over a year. Nasanay na ako. Parang nasanay na ako to be with myself.”

When asked on reports that she’s dating a player of rugby team Philippine Volcanoes, Camille clarified they went out with friends once.

“Yung sa Volcanoes, he’s not here. He lives in a different country. I think he lives in New York or Australia if I am not mistaken,” she said.

“I’ve only seen him once when he guested in ‘Mars’ (her show with Suzie Andrada) and he started tweeting me and he got my number. And then, we went out for a dinner, once. Pero hanggang doon lang. Hindi na naulit yung dinner na yun because he’s not here,” Camille said.

She added that the sportsman greeted her on New Year’s Day and when her son celebrated his birthday. She then clarified that the player is not courting her.

Hindi siya nanliligaw. Because I don’t think he would actually have the time to do that, kasi he’s not here,” she said.

Camille revealed that she prefers dating Filipino men.

Parang Pinoy yung gusto ko. Ayokong magsalita nang patapos, pero parang mas kampante siguro ko sa ka-kultura natin,” she said.

Recently, Camille was also linked to Sam Milby, the best friend of her older brother, as she confirmed they are really good friends.

“Sam and I would occasionally go out. Yung friendship namin, ganoon na rin na sometimes. We will watch a movie…ilang beses na rin. We got to church together but really, we’re really good friends,” she said.

She said the actor even invited her to a dinner in Tagaytay before he left the country last year to pursue his dreams in Hollywood.

When asked if she’s willing to date Sam, Camille replied: “Kilala ko na siya. Kung hindi naman siya maayos na tao, I wouldn’t be friends with him or I wouldn’t be hanging out with him.”

“But since he’s a really good person, hindi ko naman masasabi ngayon, hindi ko rin naman hawak yung pag-iisip ni Sam. But I think, yeah, why not?” she said.

But Camille stressed that she’s happy for Sam, who recently expressed his interest to court fellow ABS-CBN talent Shaina Magdayao.

Camille said that she’ll support Sam in whatever decision he will make for himself.

“I’m all for happiness. Lahat naman tayo are all entitled to our own happiness. Kung yun ang magpapasaya sa kanya, I’m all-out support for him. I mean, he deserves to be happy also. It’s been a while since he was in love, so isa rin yun sa ipagdarasal ko sa kanya,” Camille said.

On her part, Camille said will be back in dating scene again if she sees someone worthy of her time and effort. Someone who would also love her son, Nathan, she said.

“Siguro kung may darating and he’s worthy of my time. Nakikita ko naman na maganda ang intensiyon niya sa akin, sincere naman siya sa akin. Siguro yung nakikita kong may future, bibigyan ko ng pagkakataon,” he ended. (MNS)
