MANILA  (Mabuhay) – Although he is being implicated in the alleged pork barrel scam, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. on Monday said he wants the supposed mastermind of the anomaly, Janet Lim-Napoles, to be summoned to the Senate.

In stating his stand on the issue, Revilla called Napoles by her nickname “Jenny.”

Siguro it is high time na pumunta si Jenny Napoles dito para lumabas na ang katotohanan, nang matapos na ang gulong ito,” the senator said.

Ang managot, dapat managot, kulong,” he added.

Revilla’s suggestion came on the same day that Senate President Franklin Drilon postponed the scheduled caucus on whether the controversial businesswoman be summoned to attend the Senate blue ribbon committee hearing on the pork scam.

Drilon moved the caucus to Wednesday “on account of sickness or official mission abroad” of some senators, according to an advisory to members of the Senate.

Revilla is one of three senators facing a plunder complaint before the Office of the Ombudsman, the others being Senators Juan Ponce Enrile and Jinggoy Estrada.

On the other hand, Napoles is facing three plunder complaints over the alleged pork barrel scam as well as over the Malampaya fund scam. She is currently detained at FortSto. Domingo in Sta. Rosa, Laguna for a separate serious illegal detention case. (MNS)
